On the Road... Real Soon!

We've been slowly planning our anniversary trip out west. Our Subaru is no longer on lease, so we can now put as many miles as we want. This is going to be our very first serious long road trip together... 6 nights in 6 different spots over 3000 miles round trip. To spend our time and miles wisely, we've been doing our homework on the Black Hills and Buffalo history.
We are starting out on our adventure this Thursday. I just finished vacuuming the Subaru, and Joe changed oil and checked other important parts. In the process we pulled out all these treasures from the back of the car. 

Also trying to eat what's in the fridge before the trip. The other day I ended up making chili cheese fries, because we had too many potatoes and only a bowl of venison chili left. Kind of fun.
