Easter Weekend

Happy Easter! We didn't color eggs ourselves... but our free-range chicken eggs from Joe's cousin came in pretty multi-colors. And they made a good French toast casserole dish to share with Joe's family.
Yesterday was a gorgeous spring day, reaching 65 degrees. We certainly managed to take in as much sunshine as we could in one day. Also we had to try fishing for the first time this season. I myself lost enough of the new fishing line in tangles... but didn't lose a lure. A good first day fishing. No sign of salmon or steelheads, yet.  

Later on we checked out a spot where Joe is planning to go fishing next Saturday, the opening day of trout season. Still enough snow is left in the woods... we shall see if Joe could walk in to the stream in a week.
