Father's Day Weekend

It turned out to be a beautiful UP June weekend... the temps between 40 and 60 with plenty of sunshine. We went to Apple Creek both days. Fun fishing, not good catching. Everything has gotten even greener. Ferns are getting tall.
Sunday we had a tasty riverside pasty lunch to celebrate a Father's Day.
I (who had chest-waders on) crossed to the other side to retrieve one of Joe's favorite lure that he lost when the water was high. It gave me a different view of the stream... but then I ended up losing my lure right after this. My knot came undone when I caught a very nice Brookie. Sigh.
We had a rare craving for pizza... so we made pizza at home. Not too bad a job for us two non-Italians!
