Some Catch

Fall is in full swing now. After our getaway last Sunday we had to try to catch salmon again. Only to stay till dark and Kayo managed to catch a touch of cold. No salmon.

Yesterday afternoon after stormy weather, the sun came out. Well, guess what? We went chasing salmon again. Finally, Joe hooked on a good sized salmon!

An almost 30" female salmon. Except she was so close to spawning that her body dark colored and her tail decaying. We had to let her go. Still exciting though.

For my birthday (a day early) Joe grilled BBQ ribs last night. Only Joe is still wanting to go back to catch one fresh (edible) salmon to bring home. To be continued....
