New Kitchen Floor!

Ta-daaa! We now have a real floor in the kitchen, instead of just the painted sub-floor which was getting all scuffed up. After the cabinets were painted, our floor looked doubly shabby. It was time for a real thing. Except yesterday morning we were still just thinking about the project. Late morning we looked through different lines of flooring materials at a store, but then walked out with a cart full of WORK. From Noon on we tackled with the flooring till late at night. 

Here are a couple of Before pictures. It was definitely worth the money and effort,  but our body aches this morning make us wonder if such an impulsive first-time flooring project was a good idea. All we can say is that we are not doing our second flooring project for a long time.
